REMEMBERING Vanderlyn Johnson

Vanderlyn Conchita Johnson was born on November 11, 1945 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late George William and Louise Anne Wellington. She had one sister and one brother who preceded her in death, Hyacinth Cooke and Wilpert Wellington and is survived by two sisters, Molly Finch and Barbara Wellington (Seven) and four brothers, Joseph Barnett (Mavis), Kenneth Wellington, Clarence C. Wellington (Pearl), and Gerald Wellington (Rose). She leaves behind three children, Maxine Lewis, Marvin Johnson and Melitta Johnson, along with 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

THANK YOU: Mom, you’ve done your best with your children. You gave us love unconditionally and nurtured us in every way. Thank you for all your love and for being my ultimate blessing. The Lord blessed me with the best mother.
