The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.
I remember Franca the first day, I met her and introduce myself as her Nurse she was very pleasant and even in her moment of pain she would smile and say thank you but I am ok in her low settled tone . She was very courteous, gentle, caring but most I remember her for her faith. I would sing while giving her care and she would just give me a smile of appreciation and gratitude she said my faith is strong and I do believe as she was at great peace with her maker. Two days before she past I went to visit her and she held my hand and i assure her not to worry my children are grown and its sunday I have an hour to stay with her after my shift . Even though she was in pain , she always kept a smile on her face and showed appreciation.. Her soul is at peace and I am thankful I met her and her family. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
