My darling cousin Joy....
So thankful that I met you for the first time in 2013 in Jamaica and to hear the stories of our family history. I will truly miss those times, but mommy and I will forever cherish our last moments together in Canada. I will be forever grateful for all that you did for mommy and taking care of her when she traveled back home. You will never be forgotten and always will be remembered in our hearts. 🧡
Love you....
Aunt Winnie and Cheryl (Mass Arthur grand pickney)

From Orleen: My dear sister Joy, you were the joy of our lives. When you spent time with us in Brampton, we would sit down and watch the Blue Jays games and comment on what was happening at that moment in our own unique way. You would always have some gems of Jamaican patois like"C'mon hit wha' homey nuh man!" when the Jays needed a homerun. I'll even miss the simple things like running errands, in particular the grocery shopping... which would always end in the cooking of some good Jamaican food.
From Kamal: I will forever remember the nickname "Malo" with fondness. You where the main connection to learning about my Jamaican roots, through funny stories of you all growing up in St. Ann and telling me about long lost relitives that we have was truly important and more appreciated now that you've left us.
Although I'm sad that you're gone, the sport of baseball will always be our connection to eachother. The memories of the countless Blue Jays games you shared with Mom, JC and I are unforgetable.
Rest in Peace Aunty!

Aunty Joy, we love you so so SO much! We pray you Rest In Absolute Peace. Say hi to your Mommy and Daddy for us all!
You were the joy of the family - making us smile and laugh in every moment with you. We're grateful that we were able to spend lots of time with you while stayed with us in Milton! You are an amazing aunty, friend, and sister. We are inspired by how hard you work and how you willingly help others no matter their distance. You were such a positive person in everyone's life and touch everyone in ways that we will never forget. Our family loves you and will continue to love you forever. We will miss you in our lives but we know that you are living your life up in heaven. Soon we will meet again. Errol will miss you telling him how to cut the trees in the backyard and making the landscape look pretty! Giselle will miss the goodness of your heart, constant help, initiative, and will continue to use your "Joy Sauce" recipe. Chelsi will miss cracking jokes with you and listening to your stories of back home. Ciera will miss you bringing Jamaican mangoes and teasing her and her friends. Chloee will miss mimicking your jokes in patois and giving you her novels to read at night. And we will all miss your powerful singing and your ginger-cucumber "NATURAAAL" juice (that you would sneak into our juice jugs -__- ). You made us all happy. The WHOLE family. We will never forget the impact you have on our individual lives and our whole family unit.

Till we meet again,

The Germain Family
